I have been given the opportunity to travel to South Africa for 21 days during next year’s summer holidays. I have set up this website to help me towards my expedition. In order to undertake this life changing challenge, I need to raise a large sum of money. I have many fund raising ideas that are also going to help me towards raising the funds for the expedition. I will also be paying some of the costs out of my own money. Raising funds to pay for my expedition is all part of taking on the challenge. Many people tell us it is one of the most enjoyable parts, as they realise they are capable of achieving far more than they had ever dared hope before. Therefore the website is in place to show people detail of the fund raising events I will be holding so they can pop alone for support.

As part of this life changing experience, I will be taking part in two community and cultural projects, the first in Lesotho and the second in Mokhotlong. The time that I give to our chosen Community Projects provides essential maintenance work, teaching skills, personal support and in some projects feeding and caring for the children. I will be doing things I have never dreamt of, seeing things I have never imagined and meeting people I would otherwise not have the privilege of meeting by having this opportunity to travel to South Africa.

I will be traveling with Outposts LTD and the charity that we will be working with is a Norwegian Charity called Zulufadder. The charity is registered with the South Africa Eshowe Rotary Club under Section 21 as the “Zulu Children's Trust” and is a “Company Not for Gain”. RSA Certificate Registration No: 2002/022745/08
